HVAC Tune-Up & Pre-Season Check

The cheapest repair is the one you never need. A pre-season charge and tune-up gets your system ready before the first heat wave or cold snap — improving efficiency, lowering energy bills, extending system life, and heading off breakdowns.

What a tune-up covers

  • Outside AC unit cleaned and checked
  • Inside unit inspected and tested
  • Furnace inspected before heating season
  • Refrigerant charge checked (R22 & R410A)
  • Thermostat operation verified

Why pre-season timing matters

Northeast Ohio swings from humid 90° summers to lake-effect winters, and your HVAC system takes the punishment at both ends. Booking a tune-up before the season means problems get caught while they’re cheap, parts are available, and you’re not competing with every no-cool emergency on the first 90° day.

An honest check, not an upsell visit

Some companies treat tune-ups as a foot in the door for replacement quotes. We don’t. You get a clear report of what we checked, what’s healthy, and what (if anything) needs attention — with honest pricing if a repair is warranted and zero pressure if it isn’t. That’s how a family-owned business keeps five-star reviews.

Good to know

Tune-Up questions

When should I schedule a tune-up?

Ideally before each season of heavy use: spring for your air conditioning and early fall for your furnace. Either way, a check now beats a breakdown during the first extreme week of the season.

What does a tune-up actually do for my bills?

A clean, correctly charged system doesn’t have to run as long to hit temperature — improving efficiency, lowering energy use, and reducing wear that shortens equipment life.
